Zoom Player

Introduction
Zoom Player is the type of software which targets the largest amount of PC users and tries to fill the gap between the complete newbie and the advanced PC user. Zoom Player provides a slick and simple user interface but at the same time, it is very powerful. What does this mean? Well, it means that Zoom Player is basically for anyone. If you are a newbie, it’s fine; Zoom Player is very simple to operate. On the other hand, if you are an advanced PC user who seeks for more, Zoom Player has a lot to offer. Let me show you.

Zoom Player Installation:
You can download Zoom Player from the official website: http://www.inmatrix.com/

Here are the installation steps:

• Double click on the setup
• Click “I Agree”
• Select the location where you want Zoom Player to be installed and click “Next”
• Select the components that you want to install and click “Install”
• Click “Close”!

How to use Zoom Player:
In order to open Zoom Player, you need to click on:
Start->Programs->Zoom Player->Zoom Player Standard

As soon as you have done that, Zoom Player will show you a dialog that provides you with some information about Zoom Player Professional. The Professional version includes more features but unfortunately, it’s not free.

Click on the “Close” button in order to proceed.

Zoom Player might give you some prompts about installing a few features etc. Just ignore those for now…

When you are done, you should be looking at the main Zoom Player window.

• As you would expect, the bottom of the window contains the media playback controls/buttons. You can use the buttons to the right side at the bottom of the screen to: (from left to right) Open a file, Show/Hide the equalizer, Manage your playlist(s) and finally, to switch to “Audio Bar Mode”.
• You can switch to fullscreen view by clicking on the “Fullscreen/Restore” button at the top of the screen (it’s the button to the left side of the standard Minimize, Maximize and Close windows buttons)
• Finally, you can access some of the more advanced options by doing a right click on the black area of the window

In conclusion:
 Zoom Player is a very handy and powerful media playback software. If you like it, you can consider buying the Professional version but if you don’t want to spend any money or if you simply feel that you are totally covered by the standard version then it’s perfectly OK.
